ABSTRACT
Accurate calculation of the natural frequencies permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) is essential to prediction vibration and noise PMSMs. The analytical numerical methods are respectively used calculate stator yoke, core, core with windings, motor casing system. It found that relative errors between calculated results traditional formulas very large. For sake reducing errors, novel calculating circumferential modal system proposed. Compared experimental analysis, effectiveness verified.
