ABSTRACT
The neural and vascular systems share common guidance cues that have direct independent signaling effects on nerves endothelial cells. Here, we show zebrafish Netrin 1a directs Dcc-mediated axon of motoneurons this function is essential for lymphangiogenesis. Specifically, secreted by the muscle pioneers at horizontal myoseptum (HMS) required sprouting dcc-expressing rostral primary motoneuron (RoP) axons neighboring along HMS, adjacent to future trajectory parachordal chain (PAC). These are formation PAC and, subsequently, thoracic duct. failure form in netrin or dcc morphants phenocopied laser ablation rescued both cellular transplants overexpression mRNA. results provide a definitive example requirement leading parallel patterning vessels vivo.
