ABSTRACT
The aim of the current paper is to assess ability active steering systems prevent development rail corrugation in curves. For that, growth rates obtained for a passive vehicle are compared with those vehicles (in work two strategies described and implemented: relative angle control yaw moment control). procedure calculation described: first quasi-static creepages produced during curve negotiation calculated by means railway simulator program (SIMPACK) different cases. Second, these introduced non-linear model that evaluates dynamic variations normal tangential wheel contact forces. Finally, on basis forces, evolution profile determined. includes results selected show potentiality reducing rates.
