ABSTRACT
We demonstrate that set-dependent multiplicative scatter correction and set-independent standard normal variate transformations of NIR spectra are linearly related as theoretically expected. It is shown the mean deviation set-mean-spectrum together with correlation coefficient between each individual spectrum required to link these two transformations. through three quantities, set-dependency incorporated into derived by application correction. MSC SNV alternative approaches reduce particle size effects they interconvertible.
