ABSTRACT
Cholangiocarcinoma is one of the most common malignancies in China. Surgical resection only treatment option; however, diagnosis at advanced stage precludes surgery. Comprehensive knowledge prognostic markers missing. Hence, aim this study was to determine clinicopathological indexes that would be indicative prognosis post-operative cases cholangiocarcinoma.A retrospective analysis 293 cholangiocarcinoma patients attending 301 Military Hospital Beijing, China between January 2004 and December 2010 were included study. The had follow-up history until August 2012. Cox proportional hazards model performed identify prognosis. All indicators analyzed by univariate multivariate analysis. The median time 55.90 months, with recurrence metastasis 162 (55.3%) death 223 (76.1%). 1-year, 3-year, 5-year survival rates 71.7%, 38.2%, 10.6%, respectively. independent risk factors overall degree tumor differentiation, TNM stage, surgical margin, intraoperative blood transfusion, location, alkaline phosphatase levels blood, relapse.Good indicated highly differentiated tumor, early stages staging, no margin invaded, intrahepatic normal levels, relapse.
