ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:In developed countries, prostate cancer (PCa) is a frequently diagnosed with the second highest fatality rate. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are class of endogenous non-coding (ncRNAs) stably expressed in cells and involved series carcinomas. However, few research studies have reported on role circRNAs PCa. MATERIAL AND METHODS:We used qRT-PCR to detect expression circMYLK (circRNA ID: hsa_circ_0141940) miR-29a PCa tissues cell lines. MTT, colony formation, TUNEL assays were performed analysis viability cells. Transwell wound scratch investigate invasion migration RESULTS:In present study, we confirmed that level was significantly higher samples than normal prostatic The upregulated circRNA-MYLK promoted proliferation, invasion, migration; however, si-circRNA-MYLK accelerated apoptosis. We also observed aforementioned function affected through targeting miR-29a. CONCLUSIONS:We an oncogene revealed novel mechanism underlying PC progression.
