ABSTRACT
Invasive plant species pose ecological threats to native ecosystems, particularly in areas adjacent roadways, considering that roadways represent lengthy corridors through which invasive can propagate. Traditional manual survey methods for monitoring plants are labor-intensive and limited coverage. This paper introduces a high-speed camera system, named CamAlien, designed be mounted on vehicles efficient along roadways. The system captures high-quality images at rapid intervals, monitor the full roadside when following traffic speed. utilizes global shutter sensor reduce distortion geotagging precise localistion. makes it possible collect extensive data sets, used digital library of their locations, but also subsequent training machine learning algorithms automated recognition.
