ABSTRACT
<ns3:p>Background: In the United States, patients with limited English proficiency face significant barriers to comprehending and acting upon health-related information, particularly during COVID-19 pandemic. The ability of health professionals communicate COVID-19-related information Mandarin-speaking has proved critical in discussions about vaccine efficacy, side effects, post-vaccine protection.</ns3:p><ns3:p> </ns3:p><ns3:p> Methods: authors created a one-hour educational module help medical students better convey Mandarin-only speakers. is composed an guide, which introduced key terminology addressed commonly asked questions, pre- post-surveys. recruited 59 all whom had previously completed Mandarin elective. surveys were distributed August 2021.
