ABSTRACT
The timing of heading is largely affected by environmental conditions. In wheat, Vrn-1 and Ppd-1 have been identified as the major genes involved in vernalization requirement photoperiod sensitivity, respectively. To compare effects alleles on time under different environments, we genotyped homoeologues measured at Morioka, Tsukuba Chikugo Japan for two growing seasons. A total 128 Japanese six foreign varieties, classified into four populations based 519 genome-wide SNPs, were used analysis. Varieties with spring (Vrn-D1a or Vrn-D1b) Vrn-D1 locus insensitive allele (Hapl-I) Ppd-D1 found earlier varieties. stronger than those other homoeologues. Analysis variance revealed that was significantly genotype-environment interactions. Some conferred later specific indicating effect both depends environment. Information alleles, together various provide useful information wheat breeding.
