ABSTRACT
We have constructed a genetic map of the nuclear genome in rice (Oryza sativa L.), utilizing 322 restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) DNA markers and nine morphologlcal biochemical genetlc markers. The RFLP is based on segregation 144 F2 plants from cross between Indica Japonica varieties. covers total 1, 836 cM with 347 loci exceeds data recorded classical by 58.5% current (McCOUCH et al. 1988) 32.2%. linkage groups were assigned to twelve chromosomes using trisomic mutants andseveral This should provide basis for mapping genes controlling agronomic traits rice.
