Low-cost circular LED dome lighting system for Insecta (Hexapoda) image capture in self-assembly stereomicroscope

The use of high-resolution images in studies morphology, taxonomy and systematics has been increasingly frequent, especially Insecta. However, suitable lighting systems are still very expensive and/or difficult to use. On the other hand, currently 3D printers helped make equipment more accessible for researchers equip their laboratories. Here we present a low-cost circular LED dome system capturing scientific micro macro photography on self-assembly stereomicroscope. We also necessary components making dome, as well elements used capture photographs.
