ABSTRACT
The study aimed to determine the physical characteristics of estrus mucus and conception rates in dairy cattle.Samples from cervix were collected 108 cattle during heat examined for color consistency.Samples taken bred animals at starting day breeding completion one cycle.The cervical was studied based on its transparency while consistency thinness thickness mucus.The pregnancy diagnosis performed 60 th post breeding.Findings showed that transparent 58.3%, turbid 31.5% dirty 10.2%.It further observed thin 74.1% thick 25.9%.In pregnant group, 67.3% samples found transparent, 23.6% 9.1%.However, corresponding figures non-pregnant group had 49.1%, 39.6% 11.3%.The be 25.9% cattle.The with 81.8% 18.2%, respectively.Pregnant associated (p<0.10).Findings indicated clear discharge cows.
