ABSTRACT
Breast neoplasms are the most common malignant tumors among women. In recent years breast cancer incidence rate has increased. Due to this fact European Union presents evidence-based guidelines on screening and diagnosis. Recommended commonly used test is mammography. The effectiveness of prophylaxis measured by a decrease in mortality rate. Detailed recommendations EU member countries differ from those presented institutions. This paper compares programme Poland programmes other members. evaluation considers compliance with changes rates since introduction programs. General close ones. However, some Polish health centers still use analog mammography instead recommended digital Furthermore, maintain constant level due women’s reluctant participation tests.
