ABSTRACT
LINGUISTIC CREATIVITY, CULTURE, AND TEACHING PORTUGUESE AS A NON‑NATIVE LANGUAGE: WHAT DOES COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS TEACH US ABOUT EUROPEAN (EP) THE OF BRAZIL (BP)?
 Given the different linguistic varieties of Portuguese, and especially two national (EP BP), reflecting on teaching Portuguese as a non‑native language is complex task that needs to be taken up by entities engaged in process, if it happens outside space Lusophone countries. In this paper, we propose go beyond usual concerns about differences between (phonetic, phonological, lexical morphological) widely known presented grammars, concentrate semantic, discursive conceptual levels language, anchoring study framework Cognitive Linguistics, discussing role creativity conceptualization advertising (BP EP) [cf. Arruda, 2013 Batoréo, press].
