ABSTRACT
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the influence of trauma experiences and social adjustment on health-related quality life in North Korean defectors. Methods: The subjects were 117 defectors living B Y city. data collected from September 1 20, 2014, analyzed by SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: Significant differences found with respect subjects’ education, marriage status, types dwelling, family types, duration residence South Korea, jobs Korea families left or other surrounding countries, subjective health status. Health-related is negatively related during escape their Korea. positively adjustment. meaningful variables which influenced subjects’health-related include adjustment, job current structure, Total explanatory power these factors for Defectors 43.0% most influential factor.
