ABSTRACT
Ovine theileriosis is a tick-borne disease that restricts the development of small ruminant husbandry in northern China. In this study, we report on molecular epidemiological survey ovine Theileria spp. 198 blood samples taken from sheep The DNA were screened by nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) targeting 18S rRNA gene prevalence Yanji, Nongan, Longjing, Toudao and Jinchang was 80%, 40%, 37%, 24% 32%, respectively. sequencing analyses approved present T. orientalis and/or luwenshuni these regions. Taken together, have demonstrated high incidence China calls for need to design effective control programs theileriosis.
