ABSTRACT
We investigated changes in the predicted functions of rumen bacterial community Japanese Black beef cattle during fattening. Nine were fed a high-concentrate diet early, middle, and late fattening stages consecutively (10–14, 15–22, 23–30 months age, respectively). The fluid solid samples collected at each stage subjected to sequencing analyses. results clustered classified into operational taxonomic units (OTUs). Representative sequences raw counting table for OTU submitted Piphillin website. revealed by Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes database as ratio total sequence. In early stage, "Biosynthesis secondary metabolites" was significantly higher fraction than fraction. "Two-component system" middle lower "Purine metabolism" those correlated with acetic acid, propionic metabolism, such "Sugar metabolism." Moreover, metabolism". These suggest that adapts conditions altering their response long-term high-grain diet.
