ABSTRACT
The minimum alveolar concentration (MAC) of sevoflurane required to prevent gross purposeful movement in response electrical stimulation the oral mucous membranes was determined horses, and their physical responses inhalation this anesthetic were observed. MAC 2.31±0.11%. horses showed good ventilation, without any signs airway irritation such as coughing. became slightly excited before they laid down. end tidal (ESC) produce recumbency 2.54±0.11%. These results suggest that is a clinically useful agent horses.
