ABSTRACT
The leaves of wild Stevia plants contain several different natural glycoside compounds responsible for producing the sweet taste sensation. It is used as a sweetener, and has some important properties regulation sugar level in blood, other medical issues. objective this work to study effects soil amendments location culture, inside or outside greenhouse, on rebaudiana growth final dry weight, at an urban soil. A complete randomized design with 4 replications was used. effect two factors were evaluated: application organic location, field greenhouse conditions. Amendments treatments control, liquid vermicompost, compost vermicompost. height diameter measured T2 (vegetative state) T3 (flowering, ) plant weight also weighed T3. Inside had higher development, by accumulation, due temperatures drip irrigation. Solid amendments, presented values parameters, height, matter, statistically significant differences from control vermicompost; these latter did not differ each other. Differences more closely related than growth, which suggests that suitable variable use early indicator In trial adapted existing conditions soil, slightly acid, non saline well supplied completed its cycle properly, good potential grown crop.
