Experiences of relatives with outpatient palliative care: a cross-sectional study

ABSTRACT
The authors aimed to evaluate the experiences of relatives dying people, both in regard benefits and special needs, when supported by a mobile palliative care bridging service (MPCBS), which exists enable people stay at home support patients' relatives.A cross-sectional survey.A standardised survey was performed, asking 106 about their with MPCBS (response rate=47.3%). Descriptive statistics were analysed using SPSS 23.Many (62.5%) reported that relations discharged from facility not symptom-free. helped maintain care, this be helpful. Support provided made it easier for 77.6% adjust as soon situations changed, ensure symptoms could better controlled, least 68.2% relatives. Younger felt more encouraged home.
