ABSTRACT
This paper presents the development of some numerical models based on results laboratory tests performed axially loaded RC columns strengthened with steel angles and strips. These consider nonlinearity building materials effects contact interfaces between different materials. The finite element accurately describe general behaviour columns. study allows engineers to assess relative importance mechanisms acting Constructive recommendations are also provided in this paper.
