ABSTRACT
As civil structures are exposed to various external loads, it is essential assess the structural condition, especially displacement, in every moment. Therefore, a visually servoed paired structured light system was proposed previous study. The composed of two screens facing with each other, camera, screen, and one or lasers controlled by 2-DOF manipulator. 6-DOF displacement can be calculated from positions three projected laser beams rotation angles manipulators. In estimation process, well-known iterative methods such as Newton-Raphson extended Kalman filter (EKF) used for measurement. Although aforementioned algorithms estimates high accuracy, takes relatively long computation time. an incremental (IDE) algorithm which updates previously estimated based on difference between current observed data newly proposed. To validate performance algorithm, simulations experiments performed. results show that significantly reduces time same level accuracy compared EKF multiple iterations.
