ABSTRACT
Graves' disease (GD) is characterized by thyroid overactivity. Anti-thyroid drugs (ATDs), such as propylthiouracil (PTU) and methimazole (MMI), are commonly used for GD treatment, studies have suggested a link between these elevated lipoprotein levels. However, data on their effects lipoproteins, insulin resistance, or low-density receptor (LDL-R) levels lacking, both in Indonesia other countries. This study investigated changes LDL-R, resistance markers with ATD treatment.
