ABSTRACT
. Abstract. In this study, Growing spot heating system for the high-bed strawberries was composed of air source heat pump(3.8RT) in type of air to water, thermal storage tank (3m3), temperature control device and growing spot heating pipe. The experiment was conducted by comparing with the crown(growing part) heating + space heating of 5℃(treatment 1), root zone heating + space heating of 5℃ (treatment 2) and space heating of 10℃ (control). The experiment was conducted in 3 greenhouses with covering material of polyester plastic film in monolayer and with the area of 210m2 per one greenhouse. In addition, four rows of high-beds were built in each greenhouse, and the korean domestic strawberry cultivar “Seolhyang” was cultivated From November 7, 2017 to March 31, 2018. the yield and energy consumption of each treatment was examined. For the heating of the crown and the root zone, the temperature of the heating water was maintained at 35°C by using an air to water heat pump, and the surface temperature of the hot water pipe was maintained at 20°C, As a result of the comparison test, the yield of treatment 1 was increased by 22% compared to the control and treatment 2 was increased by 11% compared to the control. Moreover, the energy consumption of treatment 1 was reduced by 58% compared to the control and that of treatment 2 was reduced by 52% compared to control.
