ABSTRACT
This paper presents an edge-based parallel code for the data computation that arises when applying one of most popular electromagnetic methods in geophysics, namely, controlled-source method (CSEM). The computational implementation is based on linear Edge Finite Element Method 3D isotropic domains because it has ability to eliminate spurious solutions and claimed yield accurate results. framework structure able exploit embarrassingly-parallel tasks advantages geometric flexibility as well work with three different orientations dipole, or excitation source, unstructured tetrahedral meshes order represent complex geological bodies through a local refinement technique. We demonstrate performance accuracy our tool Marenostrum supercomputer (Barcelona Supercomputing Center) scaling tests canonical tests, respectively.
