ABSTRACT
School Absence as Functional Impairment of Juveniles with Personality Disorders Based on ICD-11 This longitudinal study focused the question whether specialized treatment applied transference psychotherapy in a day hospital program can improve school dysfunction adolescents borderline and other personality disorders (PD). Moreover, we investigated influential factors for improvement attendance. Among 175 juvenile patients, before 60 % showed absence. Our results indicate that could attendance significantly. At same time, show some psychological variables be considered essential predictors development attending regularly. More conduct problems dissocial behavior diminished likelihood to attend increasingly regular; higher avoidance PD criteria were fulfilled, odds With respect changes regarding functional impairment upcoming our generate knowledge improved significantly program, especially juveniles avoidant PD. The alteration its focus enables assess treat this problem earlier adolescence. A specific future research based should address issue how pd, benefit more from treatment.
