ABSTRACT
Abstract. Numerical hydrodynamics model MOHID based on General Ocean Turbulence Model formula was used to study the tidal current in Makassar waters. The data this are elevation and bathymetry from GEBCO. simulation conducted for 30 days. results show that velocity ranged between 0,001 m/s – 0,012 m/s. during neap tide is smaller than spring tide. pattern of waters dominantly flows towards westward then turned heading northward direction. result tide-induced residual verification point shows ebb-dominant at a rate 0,005
