ABSTRACT
To improve the data accuracy of neutron emission spectra natLi(d,xn) reaction that will be used as source in International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility, authors have measured from thick and thin lithium targets bombarded by 40-MeV deuterons at AVF cyclotron (K = 110) facility Tohoku University. The were nine laboratory angles between 0 110 deg with time-of-flight method using a beam-swinger system well-collimated flight channel, obtained over almost entire energy range secondary neutrons two-gain method. revealed shape angular dependence up to high-energy region called "high-energy tail." experimental results are compared other calculations.
