Results of Special Tests on Sports Students: Does It Have a Relationship with Learning Outcomes of Basic Athletic Practice?

Special tests are test instruments used to select prospective students and see their motor abilities be able take part in sports practice lectures at the Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University.However, lecture scores athletic course were relatively low for 2 academic sessions, causing various assumptions that special carried out selecting played a less role.This study aims determine relationship between results with learning outcomes basic practices majoring coaching Science.This uses correlational research design.The instrument obtain data on is through wall pass test, Basket Ball Throw, Standing Broad Jump, Obstacle Race, furthermore, courses 1 semester.The subject this was conducted University sampling techniques using saturated so sample 39 who taking obtained.As result verification, only 33 analysis calculations.Based correlation running 100 meters, it found significant value 0.000 <0.05, which means there students.The throwing discs known have students.Furthermore, significance provide evidence FIK UNP students.
