ABSTRACT
Various attempts have been made to increase the survival rate (SR) of sago plants (Metroxylon sagu Rottb), especially treatment growing media and irrigation. The purpose this study was calculate effect (i) depth inundation on seedling Tana Luwu palm variety; (ii) dosage ameliorant bagasse husk charcoal variety. The research conducted in Waelawi Village, West Malangke District, North Regency; South Sulawesi, Indonesia, April June 2023.The used a two-factor factorial design with split plot field design. The first factor is stagnant water that flows continuously side polybag as main plot, consisting 3 levels: cm, 6 cm 9 cm.While second subplot planting 5 without ameliorant, soil only (A0S6); mixture ratio 1:2 (B2S4); 1:1 (B3S3); (C2S4), (C3S3) respectively based volume. The seedlings are relatively small, weighing between 168-728 grams (after trimming leaves, leaving midrib 60 cm).The variable measured up 50 days old.The results showed inundation, dose rice charcoal, had significant variety seedlings.
