ABSTRACT
The purpose of our study was to discover who researches functional literacy. This situated within a larger systematic literature review. We searched seven electronic databases and identified 90 sources answer question regarding how literacy is defined conceptualized as well the specific pertinent this paper. An analytic template guided data collection. analysis completed by using spreadsheet examine two levels institutional affiliation: 1) institution such university or government unit, 2) department, program, division institution. Findings showed 209 authors these represent diverse set fields. Further, it appears that multidisciplinary research being conducted. discuss implications findings call for more interdisciplinary research.
