ABSTRACT
Abstract The induction of bone formation to an intentional orientation is a potentially viable clinical treatment for disorders. Among the many chemical and physical factors, static magnetic field (SMF) tesla order can regulate shapes blood cells matrix fibers. This study investigated effects strong SMF (8 T) on in both vivo vitro systems. After 60 h exposure SMF, cultured mouse osteoblastic MC3T3-E1 were transformed rodlike orientated direction parallel field. Although this did not affect cell proliferation, it up-regulated differentiation synthesis as determined by ALP alizarin red stainings, respectively. also stimulated ectopic around subcutaneously implanted morphogenetic protein (BMP) 2-containing pellets mice, which was It concluded that has potency only stimulate formation, but its models. first show regulation adherent We propose combination potent osteogenic agent such BMP possibly may lead effective fractures defects.
