ABSTRACT
For many applications the high reflectance of conventional multilayer interference filters is undesirable. It possible to design and construct in which transmittance are independently controlled very low. However, do this it necessary employ absorbing coating materials and, as a result, reduction peak must be accepted. We describe three different methods for such coatings. Examples given number bandpass filters, neutral density cutoff an x¯(λ) tristimulus filter, all having low reflectance. This frequently 15 50 times lower than that filters.
