ABSTRACT
Our work reports the preparation of zirconium selenide (ZrSe2)-polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film-type saturable absorber (SA) and its nonlinear absorption performance in obtaining dark soliton dark-bright pairs an Er-doped fiber (EDF) laser for first time, to best our knowledge. The saturation intensity modulation depth ZrSe2-PVA SA were ∼12.72MW/cm2 2.3%, respectively. Due SA, under a pump power 525.2 mW, stable operation with average output 9.75 pulse repetition frequency 20.84 MHz, width 3.85 ns was attained successfully. By adjusting state polarization controllers, also observed. To knowledge, this demonstration focusing on optical applications ZrSe2 pairs. results show that is good two-dimensional material acting as ultrafast device due suitable properties.
