ABSTRACT
A metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide system consisting of a MIM waveguide, ring cavity, and semi-ring cavity is proposed. Using the finite element method, transmission characteristics are discussed under different geometry parameters. By detecting resonance wavelength varying refractive index, sensing performance analyzed. The proposed structure can be used as index sensor with maximum sensitivity 2412 nm/RIU. Due to isolating independent tuning double resonances realized by changing insulator in or cavity. Benefiting from two modes, isolated resonators realize simultaneous measurement glucose solution concentration blood plasma concentration. 0.13133 nm/(g/L). Meanwhile, detection 0.358 cavities has potential an efficient nano sensor, which achieve
