ABSTRACT
We present theoretical analysis and experimental verification of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) a common-path interferometer-based optical coherence tomography (OCT) system. Based on fully integrated all-fiber implementation time-domain OCT system, we derived SNR system including effect beat noise, which turns out be twice as large excess term. verified through series experiments, utilizing both controlled phantom biological samples such rat brain with tumor frog retina. The results showed that source power reference reflectivity can easily optimize imaging. have also analyzed fiber delays offset in autocorrelator overall SNR.
