ABSTRACT
In order to solve the defects of high driving voltage and a large volume existing electro-optical modulators, double-waveguide stacked graphene optical modulator based on Mach-Zehnder Interferometer structure is designed in this paper. First, size traditional planar effectively reduced by stacking two modulators vertically. Secondly, changing relative position electrode waveguide, coupling effect waveguide enhanced, reduced. Finally, performance electro-optic verified finite element method. The half-wave 0.55 V · cm modulation bandwidth 58.8 GHz are realized basis length 1.14 mm. insertion loss 1.15 dB, return -44.8dB.
