ABSTRACT
We analyze the energy collection properties of holographic planar concentrator systems. The effects solar variation on daily and annual are evaluated. Hologram diffraction efficiency, polarization, crosstalk in cascaded elements, constraints imposed by radiance theorem, as well illumination characteristics, considered. A configuration is designed modeled to maximize efficiency during course a year without need for tracking. Results indicated that nearly 50% available illuminating hologram areas can be collected photovoltaic cells
