ABSTRACT
We demonstrate an efficient method to design the diffractive phase element for modulating electric field at out-of-focus plane of a lens system by using equivalent Fresnel diffraction in free space. In monochromatic illumination, we show example certify validity our experimentally. nonmonochromatic theoretically display that spectral beam splitting and highly confined intensity can be obtained simultaneously plane, which has potential solar concentrating optical encryption.
