ABSTRACT
We investigated the design, optimization, and evaluation method of an infrared (IR)/microwave (MW) multilayered dielectric plate type beam combiner. The MW dielectrics design theory IR film were unified using transmission line theory. principles in designing initial structure a combiner presented. An objective function was presented optimizing Six indices constructed to evaluate performance To verify feasibility proposed example given. results showed that could meet joint requirements combiner's characteristics. Finally, procedure summarized.
