ABSTRACT
Eddy current infrared (IR) thermography is a new nondestructive testing (NDT) technique used for the detection of cracks in electroconductive materials. By combining well-established inspection methods eddy NDT and IR thermography, this uses induced currents to heat test samples. In way, allows visualization distribution that distorted defect sites. This paper discusses results numerical modeling procedures application marine structures.
