Eddy current infrared (IR) thermography is a new nondestructive testing (NDT) technique used for the detection of cracks in electroconductive materials. By combining well-established inspection methods eddy NDT and IR thermography, this uses induced currents to heat test samples. In way, allows visualization distribution that distorted defect sites.
