ABSTRACT
In this work, approximate three-dimensional structures of microparticles are generated with digital holography using an automated focus method. This is done by stacking a collection silhouette-like images particle reconstructed from single in-line hologram. The method enables estimation the size in longitudinal and transverse dimensions. Using discrete dipole approximation, tested computationally simulating holograms for variety particles attempting to reconstruct known structure. It found that poor resolution strongly perturbs structure, yet does provide sense structure's dimension. then applied laboratory measurements their scattering patterns.
