ABSTRACT
The effect of the inhomogeneous magnetic field on Faraday rotation angle and output light intensity was analyzed using finite element simulation, at different distances between conductor magneto-optical glass. results show that under an field, birefringence due to Cotton-Mouton decreases straight-through optical path. is non-linearly inversely proportional distance. Based these results, which were verified by theoretical model, a reasonable geometric arrangement sensing component current sensor proposed.
