ABSTRACT
Pyrometry is widely used in science, medicine, and industry to measure the surface temperature of objects a non-contact way. IR fibers are an ideal solution for flexible delivery thermal radiation emitted from inside complex structure like internal organs human body. Silver halide polycrystalline infrared (PIR) transparent spectral range 3 – 18 µm, matching perfectly with spectra black body temperatures ranging 20°C 200°C. These non-toxic allow small bending radii. They could become critical components pyrometric systems temperature-controlled laser surgeries. Here we discuss ability PIR simultaneous power real-time monitoring surgery applications demonstrate two different setups this purpose.
