ABSTRACT
In this study on healthy male mice using confocal imaging of dye spreading in the brain and its further accumulation peripheral lymphatics, we demonstrate stronger effects photobiomodulation (PBM) brain's drainage system sleeping vs. awake animals. Using Pavlovian instrumental transfer probe 2-objects-location test, found that 10-day course PBM during sleep wakefulness promotes improved learning spatial memory mice. For first time, present technology for under electroencephalographic (EEG) control incorporates modern state art facilities optoelectronics biopotential detection can be built relatively cheap commercially available components. These findings open a new niche development smart technologies phototherapy diseases sleep.
