ABSTRACT
Feature Issue on Optical Code Division Multiple AccessWe overview and summarize the progress of spectral phase encoded time spreading (SPECTS) optical code division multiple access (O-CDMA) technology. Recent included a demonstration 320 Gbit/s(32-user×10 Gbit/s) all-optical passive network testbed based SPECTS O-CDMA technology theoretical prediction efficiency at 100% above. In particular, InP-based integrated photonics allows implementation transmitters receivers monolithically chip. The InP chip not only robust compact configurations for practical low-cost deployments but also offers reconfigurations rapid rates secure communication applications.
