This paper presents a holographic approach to embedding hidden watermarks in photographic images. A physical interpretation is given of the processes and visualizing watermarks. It established that Fourier transformation embedded frequency domain with shift relative coordinate origin digital hologram. An optimized method developed for introducing watermarks, based on hologram single sideband. Experimental studies typical equipment showed stable reconstruction holograms. © 2005 Optical Society America
