ABSTRACT
This paper describes a device for measuring the radiation intensity of sources of vacuum ultraviolet radiation, consisting of a flow-through ionization chamber that operates in the total-radiation-absorption regime at atmospheric pressure. Examples of the use of this chamber to measure the radiation intensity of sealed photoionization lamps are described. The main advantage of the device is that it does not require periodic calibration or complex metrological assurance.
