ABSTRACT
We demonstrate the proof-of-concept for surface plasmon resonance sensing and imaging via a virtual probe at cell-substrate interface of biological cell in aqueous media. The technique is based on optical excitation by focused radially polarized beams localized plasmons, which forms metal substrate. intensity distribution back focal plane objective lens enables quantitative measurements to be made contact. acquired data then visualized form local refractive index map.
