ABSTRACT
We apply a four-wave mixing analysis on quantum dot laser to simultaneously obtain the linewidth enhancement factor α and other intrinsic parameters. By fitting experimentally obtained regenerative signals power spectra at different detuning frequencies with respective curves analytically calculated from rate equations, parameters including factor, carrier decay in dots, differential gain, photon can be determined all once under same operating conditions. In this paper, theoretical model for of QD lasers is derived verified. The sensitivity accuracy parameter extraction using method are presented. Moreover, how each alter shapes also discussed.
